On the first section of the show, we got to know Skeets a bit more from a basketball perspective, his favourite shoes, his first jersey, etc. We then talked about Canada Basketball and the chances of Team Canada making it to the Olympics and the current class of Canadians in the NBA. We also asked Skeets some questions about his Toronto Raptors and played a little game called “Why can’t we be friends”.
Close to the end of the show, we followed up with Skeets on the No Dunks Squad episode and asked him if he had the chance to have a new NBA franchise in Vancouver what would he name the team, what the uniform might look like, what concession stand item would be sold in the arena and who would be the celebrity ambassador.

On its 34th edition, the Dolphin gathers Vancouver’s top talent and manages to draw players from other provinces and even from Div 1 schools in the US for a fun two and a half day tournament while engaging with the local community. This is all the result of a group of hard working friends who 30+ years ago decided to start a tournament in their local park and this same group of friends is still the driving force behind the Dolphin Basketball Classic.
